Our server, Faith, was extremely sweet and kind and took good care of us during our visit. She made sure to ask her coworkers about some of the questions we had and report back. We were here on New Year's Eve so there were a few rowdy college kids around doing sale bombs. Slamming their cups in the table. Being generally rambunctious. So just know that can be a thing if you go in at the right time lol. We ordered a garlic tuna roll, and a college roll, with some bulgogi fried rice. Both rolls were really good, especially that college roll! That lemon on top adds the perfect tangy flavor I was looking for to make the fresh fish pop. That bulgogi rice though....needed a little help lol. I was about to dump all of the soy sauce on it to add flavor. The sushi was a win and that's enough to bring me back another time. So, I'd suggest if this place has caught your attention too, go give it a try!

Quick, friendly service and yummy rolls. Tonight there was pop music playing, as well as golf shown on the TV, with no closed captions. The lights on behind the fans in the food prep area creates a mild light strobing effect. Not my favorite, but probably would be hard for them to change. When I came in around 6:15 PM on a Sunday, I was the only patron, but by 6:45, many of the tables have been filled with parties. Overall, a good experience!

Didn't know what to expect from this place but we were pleasantly surprised by the sushi here which turned out to be a decent casual spot. I liked the geisha roll, I think it would be much better if it had the fresh lemon slices on top of each piece of sushi. The San Diego roll was good. I will say nothing was really stand out amazing but it was pretty good. The only issue was that my husband ordered a bulgogi bowl and ended up getting a bulgogi bento box - he figured he'd just stick with it. I'd say overall the food was about 3.5

Great service, friendly staff and reasonable priced. I went with a group of friends for Ayce and the food came out fast each round. Nigiri was good, a little bit heavy on the rice. They had decent selection of rolls and appetizers to pick from. Most the rolls were heavily sauced so they kind of all ended up tasting the same with spicy mayo and eel sauce so I would avoid those rolls. Low sodium salt was not available at the tables.

Great price, good portions, and attentive services. Visiting San Diego area, stopped by for early dinner on Saturday. The price is very affordable compared to LA/OC area. However, the menu item was not as extensive. Still, for the price you can order Salmon Kama. The portion of each nigiri sushi is quite generous. The fish were size of my index and middle finger. Unfortunately, the rice was huge portioned. So, go easy when ordering nigiri sushi. The Tuna and Salmon rolls were good, too. The fish in the roll were generous. The wait staff were friendly and often visit the table to check to see if everything is to your satisfaction. Hope to visit next time when we make our occasional visit to San Diego. The sushi places near Convoy area do not last. We have seen many open and disappear.

This is one of my go to spots for sushi! My absolute favorite is their baked scallop roll and their college roll is a second favorite. Service can be a bit slow when they have a good amount of customers since usually there's only one or two serves working. They usually have music playing which is nice, and the seating is in booths so you have your own private space to enjoy your meal. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because their menu items are very similar, so you won't find as much variety as other sushi spots.

I've repeatedly skipped over this establishment many times reading reviews and wanting to try but never attempting to since I thought it was be subpar and similar to the old RB Sushi. Well I'm so glad I gave this place a try! Especially with it being closer to home and since Olleh shut down now. Its located in the corner of a tiny plaza with limited parking in the back along with street parking. Its right across the street from Sang Dao and oddly I've driven past hundreds of times but never noticed it. They have all you can eat option or a la carte. We opted in ayce. You have about 3 rounds but the girl said its unlimited rounds but we ordered so much food and only did 1 round anyway. If I'm not mistaken it was about $37/adult and kids 4-10 were $18 so about average. They also have a nice happy hour list too! I really was expecting below basic or basic sushi rolls but honestly the rolls we got was pretty good. We ordered sashimi which didn't taste fresh but it was decent. Their hot foods are really good too! Definitely telling my friends and family about this place and will be a loyal customer!

Customer reviews highlight the friendly service and delicious sushi rolls like the Garlic Tuna Roll and Geisha Roll. The College Roll with a zesty lemon twist is a must-try, while the bulgogi rice could use a bit more flavor. Despite some minor hiccups, the overall dining experience at Sushi Factory is commendable.
